aKTa-rchitects is an award winning Singapore based design practice for the built environment established in 2001, incorporating a wide range of works carried out by Kevin Tan.

With over 20 years of extensive architecture experience throughout Asia, Kevin has been the lead architect on a number of private residential commissions, cluster houses, apartments, corporate interiors and health care buildings.  His main focus is on design-oriented projects.

With a particular focus on high quality solutions, we seek to fulfill our client’s needs through quality design, translating design concepts into spaces with impact and integrity and by incorporating and considering all relevant issues such as climate, culture, context, technology and sustainability.

The firm has been awarded both the prestigious URA (Urban Redevelopment Authority) 2000 Architectural Heritage Award and BCA (Building and Construction Authority) Construction Excellence 2001 Award for our project, The Glencaird Residences.  Kevin was selected by his peers in Singapore’s Inaugural exhibition “20 under 40” in 2004, showcasing works by the next generation of architects.
